Are you an ACA or ACCA qualified accountant currently working as a Senior ready to move into a management role, or a Manager, looking for the next step and seeking a forward-thinking practice, where you will be recognised and rewarded?

As the Audit & Accounts Manager, you will be working closely with and supporting the Partners to deliver exceptional client service. Taking ownership of a portfolio of larger corporate clients with the flexibility to tailor your work to focus more on accounts, audit or tax, or specialise in a particular sector.

Duties will include: Leading and developing a professional and dedicated team including those studying; reviewing and signing off on work completed; undertaking complex accounts preparation; preparing corporation tax returns; cashflow forecasts and business plans; managing audit assignments; handling client meetings and queries; as well as the opportunity to play a key role in the growth of the client base for the office.

The Rewards:

Salary: up to £48,000pa based on experience/qualifications

Superb benefits package including: 25 days holiday + bank holidays, pension, private healthcare, free parking, car allowance or company car, ongoing training and progression.

Location: Office based with 1 day per week working from home

Hours: Mon Fri, 37.5hours, some flexibility on start/finish times

The Person:

We are keen to hear from ACA / ACCA qualified, or equivalent with experience gained in a practice of accounts preparation and/or audit or tax.

You will be a self-starter with a proactive approach and enjoy working in a collaborative manner with colleagues at all levels in the business.

Youll be a first-rate communicator able to build effective relationships and liaise with clients. As you will be providing guidance and support to less experienced staff, you will possess an approachable and nurturing management style.
