THE BUSINESS

Our client has over 60 years experience in the plastics industry. They are a former family-run manufacturer who supplies thermo plastic injection moulded components to companies across the UK and worldwide.

They are going through a period of expansion and require injection blow moulders to join them on this exciting journey. THE ROLE

The position is an Injection Blow Moulder where you will be responsible for setting, operating and running a machine. You will support the business by following through the operations process from beginning to end. Some of your duties include:

You will carry out quality inspection work including visually inspecting parts ensuring the products are correct and to a high standard

Minding injection blow moulding machinery adhering to SOPs as instructed by your line leader or team manager

You will record and track any quality issues to support business improvements

Depending on the different machinery you may need to work at a fast pace whilst displaying high degrees of accuracy

You will record details of and bag daily regrind, recycle and scrap whilst constantly look for ways to reduce waste

You will adhere to KPIs set by your line leader or team manager in order to achieve business targets

Carry out any other reasonable task requested by your line leader or team manager

THE PERSON

You will work with minimum supervision and former experience working as an injection blow moulder is advantageous; however full training will be provided.

You must have a can do attitude, be open to progression and be a team player

You will have a strong level of verbal and written communication skills

You must display unquestionable personal integrity

You will have experience working with injection moulding machines

You must demonstrate the ability to prioritise your work and problem solve

You will have a sound knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety

You will have the ability to complete basic paperwork

You will demonstrate a good eye for detail and be quick to learn new tasks
