Job Title: Senior Calculations Analyst

Location: 100% Remote

Salary: Between £55k-£70k

Job Type: Permanent, Monday-Friday

The Role

My client is seeking a well experienced Senior Project Manager to join a fast-paced team delivering software solutions for some of the biggest financial services institutions. The successful candidate will be able, as well as responsible for the delivery of a strategic programme of work to one of the firm's biggest clients. The successful candidate would have experience managing Agile software projects.

Duties and responsibilities:

To understand as well a document and communicate calculations for illustrations, pensions administration and financial tools to be used by customers.
To work alongside the Product Owner/Project Manager to formalise functioning requirements using tools and adhering to the standard set by the BA team.
To produce a range of project documentation including process diagrams, functional specifications and user stories.
To work with the development team and testing to ensure changes which assist functionality to meet business needs whilst utilising the core features of the product.
To be able to create and maintain stochastic and deterministic models to help understand the impact of changes and to create test scenarios

The Candidate

To have knowledge of the Investments/Pensions/Savings industry
Analysis experience in the Financial Services and software industries.
Experience in test planning and test execution for technical calculation testing.
Ability to analyse numerical problems and to create practical solutions involving building models using Microsoft EXCEL
