Dolphin House is located in the heart of Newlyn. It's a large two bedroom apartment with easy access to nearby shops, restaurants, pubs, a cinema, meadery, beach and is a stones throw from Newlyn's historic fishing harbour. Penzance town and Mousehole are also within walking distance. Dolphin House has well furnished, spacious, bright rooms with a fully equipped kitchen and double glazed windows.
The accommodation has recently undergone a program of refurbishment rejuvenating the space from what was once the old Dolphin Inn public house. Some of the old pub features can still be recognised downstairs. The building dates back to the 18th Century and has had an exciting history as a hotel, a court house, a pub and post office. Today the groundfloor houses one of Newlyn's Antiques Shops.
Dolphin House combines the convenience of a central location with a good standard of accommodation and flat facilities. Located on the first floor, the living quarters are well proportioned, light and airy. There is a separate TV room to relax in, with a Smart TV which has Freeview channels and the facility for you to stream if you have your own logins, i.e Netflix or iPlayer.
The master bedroom has a Super King size bed, sofa and the room is large enough to fit a travel cot if you are bringing one.
The second bedroom sleeps 3 and has been designed to offer flexible sleeping arrangements. A super king size bed can be divided into twin singles. There is also an annex off this room with additional single bed.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher and washing machine. We provide all kitchen utensils that you might need when on holiday. There is an electric heated clothes rack stored in the boiler room, which can be brought into the kitchen over night to dry clothes. In the kitchen there is a dining area for up to 7 people and additional space to store kit or bikes downstairs.
The bathroom has both shower and bath facilities.
