Orbital Recruitment are currently looking for a Concrete Technician for our client based in Moreton Valance, Gloucestershire.

Duties:

Reporting to the Technical Manager the main duties will include

* Concrete sampling from customers site and production units

* Testing for product quality and conformity in line with associated British Standards

* Sampling of raw materials

* Daily planning of activities in order to meet sampling rate requirements

* Provision of feedback to plant staff in order to promote continuous improvement

* Assisting in minor complaint investigation

* Maintaining a high level of housekeeping for lab facilities, van, and testing equipment

* Ensuring that all duties are carried out in line with the Companys Health and Safety requirements

* Covering various plants across Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire, occasional coverage of other areas.

* Van provided

Experience Needed/ About You:

* Full UK driving licence essential

* ICT stage 2 desirable although not essential.

Pay/ Salary:

* £27,000 per annum

Hours & Contract Type:

* 37.5 hours a week (typically 7.30am to 4.00pm).

* Temporary Ongoing.
