Exciting Opportunity for MFL Teacher in Stroud!

Are you passionate about teaching languages? Join our esteemed secondary school in Stroud, Gloucestershire, and embark on an enriching journey as a Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher! This well-regarded school, located conveniently in Stroud, is renowned for its dedication to academic excellence. We are currently seeking a committed and enthusiastic individual to join our team on a part-time basis (0.8 FTE), predominantly focusing on French teaching with some Spanish, starting immediately and extending until the end of the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and effective French and Spanish lessons up to GCSE level.
Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to active learning and student engagement.
Tailor lesson plans to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
Regularly assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the MFL department and school-wide initiatives.

Candidate Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualifications.
Specialisation or experience in teaching French and Spanish.
Strong subject knowledge and a flair for delivering captivating lessons.
A passion for languages and the ability to inspire students on their language learning journey.
Excellent classroom management skills to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with colleagues, parents, and students.
Flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to contribute to the broader school community.

Terms and Benefits:

Part-time role (0.8 FTE) until the end of the academic year.

Competitive daily rates ranging from £120 to £200, based on experience, qualifications, and pay scale.
