Red Rock Consultants are currently working with a well-established M&E business that provides mechanical and electrical services throughout Yorkshire. Due to my clients continuous growth, they are now looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Electrical Project Manager to support their expanding team.
We are searching for a Mechanical and Electrical Project Manager with well-developed communication skills, industry knowledge and experience. The mechanical and electrical manager is the primary-point person responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects on time, in accordance to specifications, and to our customers expectations.
Main Tasks & Duties:
* Leading project teams to ensure technical accuracy of project deliverables
* Technical reviews
* Good commercial awareness
* Managing direct labour and subcontractors
* Procurement of subcontractors/specialist subcontractors and materials
* Ongoing monitoring of project schedules, costs & quality
* Upward reporting to more senior management on project progression
* Preparation of site specific Health & Safety Documentation
* Identify health & safety requirements
* Handovers/closing out projects
Competencies & Skills:
* Experience within the construction industry
* Liaising with customers & other construction professionals
* Assessing & minimising risk
* Self-motivated, pro-active and knows when to seek guidance
* Flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities, deadlines and budgets
* Works well under pressure
