Demand Planner Hybrid role [3days in, 2 days at home]

Alton, East Hampshire

£30k - £35k + Bens + Excellent package & prospects

Strive Supply chain have been exclusively retained to work with an international supplier of non-food FMCG items to the retail sector. They are undergoing a period of huge change, growth & complexity & as such now need to strengthen the central supply chain team. As such we need an excellent Demand Planner who will help to analyse forecast vs demand , build & help take forward this part of the supply chain function.

Role summary:

It is a new role so you can put in place some effective and efficient processes.

The role is planning customer demand. You would initially be working with 45 National Sales customers dealing with 1,800 SKUs.

Cross functional engagement across the business and go between Operations, Sales, Purchasing, Finance.

Relationship with Finance would be to feed into the Financial Forecasting.

Monitoring actual demand for conformance with month 0-3 sales forecast

Manages monthly unconsumed forecast roll

Manages short term forecast changes within demand control period

Custodian of stock allocation reports/process

Monitors and reports status and trends of SKUs and product categories to commercial and supply teams

Working with the sales teams to identify sales opportunities

Responsible for reporting expected month end, quarter end figures based on analysis of actual demand and supply and insights from sales team

Ideal candidate?

Solid experience in a similar role who have proven understanding of demand and supply and managing this within a business environment.

You will also have advanced excel skills in order to manipulate and share key data across departments.

Software skills ideally SAP [or similar] , Power BI, Excel

Being a confident communicator is a must for this role, so you will also have strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present data as and when required to key business members.
