What job is on offer and where?
Our Client is looking for an experienced Deputy Manager to join their team in an established service based in Esher, Surrey.
What do I need to know about the role?
You will support the Registered manager to Manage and Support the staff, you will need to have experience of management either in a senior or management position.
Alongside the Registered Manager, you will manage and have responsibility for all aspects of the service in line with CQC requirements
You will ensure the service users are receiving the highest standards of professional support, experiencing life opportunities, helping to promote growth and independence.
The successful candidate will support the Registered Manager and deal with the day to day running of the Service in the absence of the Manager.
Anything else I need to know?
Minimum of 12 months in a Deputy Manager role or Senior Role with a domiciliary care provider (preferably)
Thorough understanding of the nature of domiciliary care and wide-ranging customer needs
Experience of using and working with domiciliary care IT software and scheduling systems.
Knowledge of domiciliary care regulations relating to confidentiality and safeguarding procedures and why this is important
Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative, seeking guidance when needed and escalating
Ability to think clearly when under pressure and act in a professional manner at all times.
Comfortable working as part of a team, but also able to use own initiative to solve problems,
This role will require you to obtain an Enhanced satisfactory clearance from the Disclosure and Barring Service formally known as the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB)
Full UK driving licence and Class 1 business insurance
