Estimator - Restoration Contractor - Essex

Company:

My company are a specialist restoration and stonework contractor who build, repair, and restore the some of the UK's most iconic listed buildings and high end residents.

They have an outstanding clients list who regularly repeat purchase with this contractor.

Their project portfolio spans across castles, churches, monuments, heritage buildings and walls, along with high end commercial and residential properties.

Responsibilities:

* Preparation of pre-tender and bid/tender submissions

* Preparation of financial and commercial presentations

* Generate Bill of Quantities (BoQs) & Bills of Materials (BoMs) from drawings / specifications

* Analyse and assemble accurate/well organised estimates and proposals in a timely manner

* Negotiation of contract terms/conditions

* Departmental reporting and analysis

* Maintain relationships with clients/partners

* Develop effective new client relationships

* Participate in the development of companys sales and advertising

Requirements:

* Proven record in the construction industry, preferably in facade restoration/natural stone

* Proven experience in estimating in construction & refurbishment

* Working knowledge of JCT / NEC Contracts

* High level of computer literacy in MS Office & Project

* Must hold full UK Drivers Licence

* Degree (Qualified in Estimating/Quantity Surveying - preferred) or equivalent employee experience

* Experience in façade restoration and natural stonework would be of added benefit.

Salary:

* A starting salary range of £45 - £70k.

* Vehicle or vehicle allowance

* increasing holiday allowance

* Pension
