Our client is one of the worlds leading manufacturers of specialist Material Handling Equipment, if you are a new business focused Area Sales Manager looking for a new challenge with a genuine career changing employer then this could be the role for you!

The Role:

Your role is to sell the company's manufactured range of Material Handling Equipment, the product range is extensive but includes Fork Lift Trucks, Pallet Stackers, Order Pickers, Specialist Narrow Aisle Trucks and Pallet Trucks.

Field/Home based covering the North West (Chester, The Wirral and to North Wales).

60% New Business focussed and 40% Account Management focussed.

Selling into a mixed market, this team works with customers who have up to 30 trucks, the market is huge and could include Builders Merchants, Industrial Estates and Warehouses.

Most clients will be purchasing this equipment on a long term hire basis of around 3-5 years and you will be selling brand new or "2nd life" products.

Very realistic year 1 targets, you will be expected to attend around 10 face to face/possibly virtual meetings a week with around 40 prospect calls a week.

Excellent leads provided but you are expected to show some real new business initiative also.

The Person:

Must have field sales experience.

Ideally sold some kind of capital equipment, although not essential.

Must be happy with the new business element of the role.

A proven track record of sales success.

Will go the extra mile.

Up to £36k dependant on experience
