About the School:

The school houses a specialized Base designed for students primarily dealing with SEMH challenges alongside Speech, Language, and Communication Needs (SLCN).
The Role of the SEMH Teacher:
Primarily seeking a Science specialist but open to considering other specialisms.
Conducting lessons within the dedicated SEMH base, with a focus on small class sizes (maximum 12 students).
Tailoring resources and teaching methods to address the unique SEMH needs of individual students.
Assisting in the maintenance of Educational Health Care Plans (EHCPs), Individual Behavior Plans (IBPs), and other crucial records.
Collaborating closely with staff within the SEMH base and across various school departments.
Championing inclusion and emotional well-being across the entire school community. Designing and delivering lessons aligned with the curriculum, taking into account SEMH challenges.
Considering applicants with a background in primary teaching, given that students within the base may function at a learning level similar to Key Stage 1. Benefits:
