Financial Accountant | Leicester City Centre | Up to £50,000 + 10% Bonus + Hybrid Working

If so, Cherry Professional are currently partnering with a central Leicester based organisation who could be a great fit for you. They are seeking to add a Financial Accountant to their supportive team network.
This role will come with great exposure and in addition to statutory accounts production, month end reports and auditing requirements, you will also be able to develop people management skills by line managing two more junior finance members.

Reporting into a Financial Controller, you will get to learn off finance members who have numerous years worth of finance experience who will really aid your transition into a new role and help it go smoothly.

Role: Financial Accountant
Location: Leicester City Centre, Leicestershire
Salary: Up to £50,000

The Opportunity includes:
- Production of interim and year-end statutory accounts.
- Coordinate year-end audits and liaise with auditors.
- Completion of duties for month-end reports, including journal production and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Ownership of the fixed-asset register.
- Preparation of cash flow reports.
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting.

For this role it is important that you are:
- Fully Qualified in ACA/CIMA/ACCA
- Possess previous experience with statutory accounts production, either through an accountancy practice or an industrial role.
- Confident with accountancy systems and excel.
- A comfortable communicator who enjoys management.
