Job Description:
As a Structural Engineer with 3-4 years of experience working in the UK, you will play a pivotal role in assisting our senior Engineers and Associates in successfully executing their projects. We are seeking an individual who is personable, proactive, and an effective communicator. The ideal candidate should have some experience in managing their own projects and be ready to contribute to ongoing projects under the guidance of a Senior Engineer, Associate, or Director.
Salary:
Dependent on Experience (£34,000 - £38,000)
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Senior Engineers and Associates to support project delivery.
Work closely with Technicians to develop project information.
Prepare calculation packages manually and using design software like TEDDS, QSE, and Tekla Structural Designer.
Create technical drawings both manually and using CAD software.
Draft project specifications.
Attend site visits and design meetings alongside senior engineers and directors.
Participate in office design discussions to contribute to the team's collective knowledge.
Location & Commitments:
Nottingham office
Full-time, 40 hours per week
Permanent position

Candidate Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering
3 to 4 years of experience as a Structural Engineer in the UK
Possession of a valid driving license preferred.
Proficiency in AutoCAD (Experience with Revit is a plus but not mandatory)
Competency in using modern 3D structural analysis and design software.
Some experience with structural inspections
Proficient in structural design of buildings using common construction materials.
