7 seater cheap to run family car. Now has a new mot.
Last year it had lots of money spent on it with new timing chain and guides and had gearbox reconditioned so all the bad points of these vehicles has been done so lots of trouble free miles ahead. Obviously the paintwork does have age related marks and scratches but it is a 17 year old car. Was due to go into the garage for nocking noise on the suspension which the garage has said is anti roll bar links which are around £16 pounds each but I broke my leg the day before it was due to go for repair so these will need replacing.
The wheels have been changed for the ones in the last picture which are 18 inch turbine wheels from a scirocco. The 1.4 engine was designed with supercharger and turbo to give the same performance as a 2 litre but with half the running cost. It pulls really well even when all seven seats are occupied it is a great little family car.
