Quantity Surveyor

Are you a AQS, QS or Senior QS with Groundworks or Civil Engineering experience and looking for a new challenge?

Sphere solutions are working with a highly successful Groundworks company to recruit a Quantity Surveyor on a permanent basis.

Working within a busy commercial team, you will take financial charge of groundworks and infrastructure packages for new build housing sites across the Somerset and Bristol areas. With a flexible working approach, you will be both site based and home working, with the only set parameters of attending HQ twice a month for designated team meetings.

Duties will include:

* Procurement & subcontract management, inclusive of administration of the contract

* Regular assessment of variations and payment in line with Sub-contract conditions.

* Build lasting relationships with the client, supply chain, and internal Teams.

* Regular reporting of accurate cost value reconciliations and forecasting.

Key Requirement:

* Previous Groundworks / Civil Engineering experience essential

* Ability to travel across M4/M5 corridor Bristol & Somerset

* Full UK Driving Licence

* Sound knowledge of construction,

* Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills

On Offer

* Salary from £45,000 - £65,000 depending on experience.
