LTF Recruitment has established partnerships with multiple Primary Schools within the Derbyshire Dales and Derby City School districts to locate an extensively skilled SEND Teaching Assistant who will assume a pivotal role within their dedicated support team. The school is actively in pursuit of a proficient and certified team member with the capacity to excel both independently and within a collaborative setting.

Key responsibilities for this role encompass:

Maintaining an organised, orderly, and engaging learning environment that is student friendly.
Delivering one-on-one and small group instruction in Literacy, Numeracy, and Phonics.
Actively engaging students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and encouraging their active participation in lessons and the curriculum.
Coordinating with the classroom teacher to provide progress updates.The ideal candidate should possess:

A pertinent degree or qualification.
Previous experience in a school environment in essential.
A favorable grasp of special educational needs (SEND) is beneficial but not mandatory.
A Level 4 TA qualification is advantageous, although applicants with TA experience are encouraged to apply.
Possession of a valid driver's license.
