Technical Sales - Renewables Energy Transition Markets

Location Bolton-Northwest UK -Hybrid

Salary £50-70k

SME-sized precision engineering business, part of a global group, are looking for an experienced technical sales manager to join their team and help with developing their presence in the energy transition markets.

This role will be hands-on with developing routes into the renewables market - hydrogen, tidal and nuclear. We are looking for those highly motivated self-starters who enjoy the challenge of getting into a new market and with a passion for solutions sales.

In this role you will work closely with new and existing clients on how the materials can be of benefit now and in the future, especially with components that go into special purpose machinery in the energy transition market. You will be fully up-to-speed with operators, OEMs and machinery builders and be able to communicate with all levels, shop floor to board level, on long term partnerships with the client.

If you would like to work with an SME sized business which prides itself not only on its people but on quality and delivery then please do get in touch. This role will suit those individuals who enjoy the technical aspect of delivering a technical solution but also with a commercial acumen who can bridge the gap between teams. Any previous experience of working with polymers / PTFE or with knowledge of small modular reactors / emerging renewable energy markets will be advantageous.
