Hybrid Working available - 2 days in the office and 3 days from home.
Starting Salary - £22k - £28k dependant on experience
About you
You must be passionate about working with data and have an awareness of survey design and analysis, including a working knowledge of statistical software (in particular MS excel). You will be naturally inquisitive, enjoy digging into data for answers. You must be highly organised and able to work independently, with the confidence to share ideas and seek feedback.

Our client is a leading Customer Experience Research Agency based in Huddersfield. They work in the market research industry with many large blue-chip clients. They currently have opportunities for the right people looking to work on some of their many interesting and exciting projects in the role of Research Analyst. You will need to have excellent numeric and data interpretation skills, attention to detail and good communication skills.
Pay and benefits
Hybrid working available, 2 days in the office and 3 days from home
35 hour working week, plus they offer flexible hours, with core hours of 10am to 4pm. This allows staff to flex their working day earlier or later, to suit them.
Our client offers a contributory pension scheme and holiday entitlement which increases to 35 days with service. All staff receive an additional 15 days unpaid holiday allowance that can be used in addition to any paid holiday entitlement.
Staff are enrolled in the non-contributory Westfield Health Care scheme and can claim back contributions towards opticians', dentists' and consultants' fees
There are also bonus schemes in place, to ensure that everyone shares in the company's success. Each department also has a budget to spend in recognising and rewarding the success of team members or on team social events.
The role
Job Purpose: Creating and delivering research deliverables to Client Managers & Clients including research design, databases, data collection, survey analysis, cleaning data, reporting (including using automation) and responding to client inquiries.
Essential requirements:
* You can plan, prioritise and manage your own workload and balance multiple projects to meet tight deadlines and are motivated to work under your own initiative.
* Have strong IT skills and have knowledge of or be keen to learn statistical software packages
* Produce on time/right first-time reports and the ability to run automated reports in your team
* Ability to notice patterns within statistics, being able to formulate clear and concise insights and clear recommendations based on large amounts of data
* Excellent attention to detail and takes responsibility for the accuracy of their work
* Ability to work as a team member, good at collaborating and sharing tasks with colleagues. You take pride in supporting the team in delivering high quality work.
General Role / Key skills
* Being the day-to-day research contact for projects with support from Client Managers and senior members of the team. Either on projects with a Data Analyst or alone
* Assist in the development of questionnaires to ensure the right questions are asked in the right way to produce results outlined in the proposal/research objectives
* When applicable, manage the process of cleansing databases as efficiently as possible before surveying customers.
* Work closely with field to ensure that database/questionnaires are ready on time and to keep up to date with how the interviewing is progressing
* Be responsible for the data on all your projects you work on (without a Data Analyst). Collate, consolidate and manage data from multiple sources
* Along with adding basic interpretation and summary of findings, provide extra analysis, insight and interpretation of data.
* Report/present findings in a way that the client can understand and use
* Data checking and reporting, developing and specifying report needs, charting, formatting, data checking). Providing this on time and accurately.
* To take responsibility for all aspects of internal project management of a number of projects, including ongoing projects, and working with the data analyst on databases and report automation where necessary
* Responding to client queries, be a point of contact for your client
* When opportunities arise, attend client meetings contributing positively to discussions
* To keep all automated reports up to date and accurate and have the knowledge to amend and add to simple automation.
