The company
My client are a highly regarded food manufacturing PLC. The business operates across the UK from several, well invested manufacturing facilities, delivering a fantastic range of premium products.
As part of their continued growth, they now seek to appoint a Multi Skilled Engineer at their site based in West Yorkshire.

The role
Reporting to the Engineering Shift Manager you will work collaboratively within the engineering team, providing support in investigating means of improving plant productivity and also investigating and establishing causes for all breakdowns and damages. You will execute hands-on planned and unplanned maintenance activities to agreed standards, ensuring safe working at all times, actioning any repairs and ensure that all measures taken are recorded so recurrent faults can be recognised.

The person
You will need to be qualified to NVQ level 3 (or equivalent, ONC mechanical/electrical engineering, BTEC level 3 in mechanical & electrical/electronic engineering) with a proven track record in an engineering and fault-finding role. You will have a broad knowledge of Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Electrical & PLC/Inverter Assets and have the skills and capability to logically diagnose and fault find on a verity of equipment/situations.
