Nurtured Talent are recrutiing for a number of different Production roles for an Engineering Company based in Burgess Hill. We are actively looking for:
- Production Operatives
- CNC Operators
- A door Assembly Operative
The ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2 years experience in their previous role, be able to reliably commute to Burgess Hill, have a good understanding of written and spoken English and be able to work the required shift patterns. Our client understands the importance of supporting their workforce and has a clear career progression pathway in place to help support their staff to progress within the company.
Purpose
* To assist with the day to day running of the warehouse in accordance with company standards in order to ensure optimum efficiency and reliability.
Duties and Responsibilities
* PPC Pigeonholing
* PPC Wrapping Activities
* Door assembly and preparation
* Materials handling
* Stock control
* Goods in/receiving
* Order packing
* Quality control activities
* External deliveries and collection, including driving
* Use of light fabrication machinery
* General warehouse duties including the use of workshop equipment
* Exercising own judgement and initiative
* Working with limited supervision and with the ability to meet tight deadlines
* Demonstrating a commitment to own personal development within the post
* Any other duties as may reasonable be required
* Ensure knowledge and awareness of your roles and responsibilities under the Companys integrated management systems in relation to Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental
* Ensure knowledge and understanding of the Companys policies and procedures in relation to data protection legislation

Hours and Environment
38.25 hours per week working on a shift pattern. Current shift pattern in operation is 07.00 15.30 (15.00 on Friday) / 10.30 19.00 (18.30 on Friday) on a four week rotation basis.
Shift pattern will be changing in near future to 06.00 14.30 (14.00 on Friday) / 13.30 22.00 (21.30 on Friday) on a four week rotation basis.
Shift patterns may be subject to further future change as determined by local management.
Hours outside of standard hours may be required, as necessary, for deliveries
