My client is a specialist sub-contractor in the glazing and facades industry, specialising in delivering architectural glazing systems for projects all over the UK.
They've been involved in a number of iconic, and recognised projects up and down the country as well as abroad worth multi-millions of pounds.
The experience expected from applicants, as well as additional skills and qualifications needed for this job are listed below.
* Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client
* Carrying out take offs
* Performing risk and value management and cost control
* Advising on procurement strategy
* Identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks
* Preparing and analysing costings for tenders
* 5+ years experience estimating
* Good knowledge of curtain walling and glazing systems
* Familiar with working for a sub-contractor
* Knowledge with Logikal.
