We are looking for an experienced and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our team in our office in Birmingham.
To be successful in this role, you must reside in the UK and have:
* Experience of inspection and assessment of existing LV electrical installations, including MCCs and Power distribution arrangements
* Ability to work with engineers from all disciplines and other water industry professionals to optimise and develop bespoke, 'value for money' and innovative designs.
* Experience in the delivery of water designs and specifications on water related projects for Water Companies,
* Appreciation of the implications of works on the environment and knowledge of sustainable solutions
* Appreciation of water and wastewater processes and plant including control and automation
* Knowledge of LV and HV electrical systems within the Water Industry
Professional Membership and Qualifications:
* HNC or HND or professional qualification in electrical engineering
* At least 5 years experience in required discipline
* 18th Edition Electrical

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good report writing skills.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to lead a small team and work with Clients
* The ability to communicate in a fluent and positive manner with other team members and to produce reports in clear English.
* Ability to organise and prioritise own workload to ensure that timescales are met
* Good problem solving/contingency planning skills with ability to find quick, innovative and practical solutions
* Take responsibility for personal development and enable and support the learning of others
* Project a professional image to clients and colleagues
* Able to work collaboratively with others to form strong positive working relationships with colleagues, clients and contractors.
* Able to recognise own impact on others and adapt approach where appropriate.
* Demonstrate pride in work, through accurate timely delivery
