My client is an established Construction company who specialise in Facades, Cladding and Remedial works.

I have worked with my client for two years and have observed progressive growth and good staff retention.

The business operates an open-door policy with a flat management structure, which has clearly played an important part in the expansion of the business.

And to underpin my clients growth, an important role in the business has become available.

Role summary

* My client operates as a specialist principal contractor; hence the candidate must be fully aware of how construction contracts are secured and delivered.

* A QS background will be likely, though not essential, as the candidate will manage two highly experienced QSs along with the cashflow of the business turnover for 2024-25 forecasted at £23m.

* The above responsibilities will require high levels of numeracy/accuracy/MS Office skills; experience of forecasting; commercial acumen, and a motivation to extract maximum profitability.

* There will be a requirement to play a leading role in the selection of an IT system (upgrade from Sage to a more construction-oriented platform), and subsequently project manage its installation.

* The business is also undergoing a preliminary ISO 9000 audit with a view to achieving certification in the first half of 2024 input into business processes will be required.
