Mechanical Design Engineer

We are working with an award-winning company that has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer. The company is a leader in providing automated solutions to the packaging industry. They are looking for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Roles of the Mechanical Design Engineer: -

Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure seamless collaboration.
Develop designs for robot cells, end-of-arm tooling, and Conveyors and Feeders within the cell.
Create comprehensive assembly drawings for customised equipment with meticulous detail.
Offer assistance and support to the production and installation team as needed.

Requirements of the Mechanical Design Engineer

Previous machinery design experience
Proficient in 3-D modeling software and 2-D AutoCAD.
Understanding of mechanisms involving bearings, pneumatic systems, and electric motors.
Experience with servos, sensors, materials, finishes, and structural design.
Familiarity with robotic cell design and safety standards.
