Good exterior and interior condition, but some signs of age. A tiny bit of rust is now starting to bubble on the wheel arches and the roof lacker has faded. Minor scuffs on bumpers. Wheels are not kerbed but again show some light signs of age. The 17 inch Monza wheels came from a Mk VI car and I have the original wheels too, but a couple of these are slightly damaged. They have 4 brand new Michelin Pilot Power 5 with less than 200 miles and can be purchased separately for £400 (tyres are worth more alone).
Some light signs of wear in the interior but the car is still very presentable and receives a lot of nice comments.
The car is unmodified, unabused, drives very well, tight in corners and the engines pulls very smoothly with a superb note. I have used it as my daily driver for nearly 7 years and it has never let me down. A lovely car, practical, enjoyable and reliable that has always been warmed up, cooled down and well maintained. I use E5 fuel although the car is compatible with E10. I have toured extensively in France with it and it’s been a perfect travel companion.
I will be sad to see it go but my circumstances have changed and I needed something more economical on fuel. My usual MPG is around 38. ULEZ OK.
