Accounts Executive
Fully qualified or nearly qualified ACCA/CIMA/CA
Southend on Sea
£34,000 to £40,000 based on qualification and experience
One to One Personnel is proud to be working with our global brand client who is looking for an Accounts Executive based at their offices in Southend.
To be considered for this role you must have the following requirements
* Nearly qualified ACCA/CIMA/CA (with 1 or 2 exams remaining) or fully qualified
* Have a minimum of 5 to 8 years experience in financial accounting
* Previous experience with stock control
* A minimum of 3 years UK based work experience
Professional Experience
* Minimum 5 to 8 years including financial accounting and preferably with experience in a firm of chartered accountants
* Experience in using SAGE 200 or equivalent accounting package
* Experience in using ERP System, Excel (advanced)
* Experience in working to strict deadlines and attention to detail
* Involves travel within UK and Europe
Role and Responsibilities
Accounting
* Responsible for processing all entries in general ledger in the books of parent company in UK and subsidiary in Germany on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis
* Preparation of purchase control and sales control accounts
* Preparation of current account with inter-division and inter-company
* Assist FC with preparation of quarterly management accounts, compliance with bank and brand owners
* Variance analysis of operating expenses and take corrective action in liaison with functional managers
* E-Commerce sales: reconciliation of 4 payment gateway accounts and gift card accounts
* Preparation of VAT return for UK and German subsidiary
* Preparation of monthly credit exposure report
* Preparation of weekly cashflow
Stock Control
* Preparation of weekly purchase order log
* Checking third party logistics company invoices against purchase orders
* Review periodical stock reports, age of stock and product costings
