A very rare, incredibly low mileage example of this magnificent British sports car, built as a collaboration between Lotus and Vauxhall.

In beautiful original condition, and in what is unquestionably the best colour scheme to have - black with the red leather interior, which is in superb condition, showing VERY little wear at all, as you'd expect with the mileage.

The car is not 'molested' as most have been, nothing added or taken away and has covered just over 11k miles from new, which can be checked on the MOT history.

I have never driven a car like this - it is a challenge certainly, being essentially a track car for the road, but it is very, very rewarding and a lot of fun.

(However, what is not fun, is getting in and out of it at my age..)

There is no history booklet, but I understand from the chap I bought it from last summer ( the 2nd owner) that the first owner - who had owned the car for over 20 years - ran his own professional motor racing team, so I expect it will have been very well looked after. It certainly looks and drives like it.

When I bought the car it had a few stone chip repairs on the front which I wasn't 100% happy with, as the rest of the car was in such remarkable condition, so I have recently had the front of the car refreshed (at quite some expense) and I am delighted with the job, and believe me, I am fastidious about my cars.

In terms of value, I think the price is excellent value, given all of the above - especially so, looking at the prices asked and the condition of others out there with much higher miles, however, I'd be happy to consider close offers, there's always some wriggle room.
