Optimum Recruitment Group are proud to be working with a privately owned business based in Rotherham who are looking to appoint a Senior Business Support Officer.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role would suit an experienced business /operational support supervisor who is used to working within an SME environment.

You must be highly competent in all areas of business administration management and be naturally inclined to take responsibility for ensuring a high standard of performance is achieved, applying discretion and confidentiality.

You must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and experience in supporting to motivate a work force to achieve growth and business development; whilst still being willing and able to personally engage in any activity the business may require. You must have a sound work ethic and be able to work both independently and collaboratively.

Yours duties will include:

* Supervise retention of the commercial business through the internal controls process, maintaining internal spreadsheets to track conversions and outstanding tasks.

* Supervise and support the Operations Manager by motivating the team when management are off site in order to ensure the business runs smoothly in their absence, meeting overall profit targets.

* Maintain a high level of confidentiality, trust and confidence, working in collaboration with the Operations Manager/Managing Director to achieve growth and development of the Company in all areas such as Admin & Sales, including customer service, employee engagement and compliance.

* Maintain and administer changes that are required to the systems to ensure compliance and best practice are in place. System letter amends etc.

* Ensure the smooth running of all IT and telecoms systems.

* Meet business administration requirements including support of internally based sales administration and support the team when required, in line with FCA regulatory requirements.

* To be a thought leader for business development and fulfil the duties and responsibilities of the role so as to inspire and encourage outstanding performance across all areas of the business.

The ideal candidate for this role will be someone who has significant experience in working at management level within the financial services industry.

Salary up to c£35k plus benefits.

Working hours 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday. This is an office based role
