This Internal Sales Engineer / Estimator role will allow you to build on your existing skills and develop into a better catch.
Youll be working for an SME-sized manufacturing and engineering business. Its a growing business, enjoying healthy markets. Its also part of a global group that believes in continuous investment and that includes its people.
Variety is the key word here. You will be focused on dealing with global customers via email and telephone on quotation enquires- RFQs. You will be very much involved with providing detailed and accurate costings in an efficient and lean manner. Projects will range from small and bespoke to large and complex. Youll need to use historical data and be involved with production teams and contract review processes.
It's a fairly small sales office team but with a real family feel. The company is known to celebrate successes with the odd fish and chip lunch or round of ice creams, and theres always the chance to join in a curry night or day at the races with the sports and social club.

So what will you need to do this job?
Most importantly, youll be a completer by nature. Youll able to demonstrate the ability to read and interpret technical drawings, a meticulous mechanical mindset to dissect drawings and spot potential pitfalls. Ideally youll also understand or come from a machining environment- milling- turning.
