1999 Citroen Xantia lx HDi 109hp
Mot until June 30 2023
I’m between a rock and hard place; yes, it’s better to sell with full MOT but I do not have the finances before the end of June to do this so I am offering this Xantia for sale now as my father has offered me another vehicle to bridge the gap between the Xantia and recommissioning a ZX.
Good:
-Ultra reliable.
-143k
-Daily driver. Owned since Sept 2021 done 20k in that period.
- Spent a lot of money last year refreshing a fair few parts.
- Very economical.
- All seatbelts in place and working.
- Spare matching alloy with brand new recent tyre.
- Vehicle specific mats.
- Height adjusts to all levels.
- Solid underneath.
- 5 x 16” Citroen C4 Picasso alloy wheels. (Should be on 15” steels - I bought it like this).
- Good amount of history.
Bad:
- After the work done last year there was a knocking from NSF area. I returned the car, nothing was found. I took it to a Citroen specialist who said it may be a pin on the new control arm but not dangerous so nothing done. So this noise is still there, most noticeable on uneven ground/3-point-turns.
- Imperfections on every panel.
- I think it will need two rear tyres for mot (all 4 Yokohama Bluearth).
- Time for an oil change (supplied with new PSA filter & a few litres of Total 7000)
- Aircon not operational
- Gear knob taped.
- Upholstery coming away NSR.
- OSF window motor needs replacing, not operational.
- Parcel shelf just sat in place.
- Needs sidelight bulb (supplied. French - zero - access so not done yet.
- Trim damaged on rear bumper.

If vehicle does not sell it will be MOT’d end of June and re-advertised at a higher price. Ideal if you can do work yourself.
