Our client based in West Yorkshire has been global leader within the Glass manufacturing industry and has been for over 150 years. With a state-of-the-art facility supplying many well-known brands across the globe.
On their behalf we are recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Electrician. The role is to perform both preventative and reactive maintenance as well as installations on site, working closely with both production and quality.
Your Experience
* Have experience a manufacturing environment.
* Knowledge needed of PLCs, 3 Phase supplies, synchronous motors & complex electrical and mechanical systems.
* NVQ Level 3 or above in electrical installations.
* 18th Edition wiring regulations.
* Someone who can work independently, multitask, organise & prioritise workloads.
* Dexterity and good technical ability.
The Job
* Complete preventative maintenance check sheets as required by the engineering team.
* Carry out repairs to all on site electrical & mechanical equipment as required.
* Complete all electrical works in line with current legislation & regulations.
* Assistance with the General Maintenance Fitters as required.
* Carry out all on site electrical installations.
* Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
* Inspect electrical components to identify hazards, defects, or necessary repairs.
* Ensuring a clean & safe working environment is maintained.
* Undertaking other duties as requested by the Departmental Managers
The hours for the role are Monday Friday either 06:00 14:00 or 07:00 15:00 with overtime available.
