An excellent opportunity is available for a Quantity Surveyor either at project or senior level to join an established and reputable main contractor, which will provide the individual the opportunity for further career development and to work regionally across the Northwest (centred from the West Manchester area) on a range of interesting and challenging commercial build projects.

The role will be job running on projects £5m+ where you will have full financial responsibility for your projects, reporting directly to commercial director.

To be considered for the role you should fit the following criteria;

* Have a proven track record operating at a minimum project QS level within a build environment, with the capability and confidence to commercial deliver on projects valued £5M+.

* Have ideally operated with a regional or national main contractor environment.

* Be comfortable in dealing with all commercial aspects from preconstruction through to final accounts, including managing all associated packages to achieve agreed target / profit margins.

* Be comfortable managing / delegating to assistant QSs to deliver day to day duties.

* Be a strong communicator / negotiator at all levels.

* Hold strong IT skills.

* Hold a full UK driving licence.
