A great opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to be involved with a leading main contractor working on Civil Engineering Schemes in the South West

THE ROLE

Ganymede are working closely with a Leading Main Contractor in the UK, who specialise in Civil Engineering within Highways. The successful candidate would be working as part of a strong Commercial Team on a multitude of projects in the South West.

They would be responsible for everything from the commencement to the completion of projects including managing, and reporting of the works throughout dealing with both subcontractors and clients and final accounting all works upon completion. The support of Junior staff is also vital. This is a key element of the role.

Your responsibilities will be:

Liaison with Senior Commercial Team
Subcontractor enquiries
Subcontractor cost analysis
Provide support to Commercial Manager
Provide support to Estimating/Bid Teams
Preparing and sending out Subcontract packages
Commercial reporting
Arranging payments to Subcontractors
Cash flow forecasting
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

To be considered for this fantastic Quantity Surveying opportunity, you will need:

Good sound knowledge of commercial contracts NEC Target Cost (Option C)
Main Contractor Background
Highways Experience
