Customer Technologist / Horti / Fresh / Spalding

Are you passionate about plants and committed to ensuring safety, quality, and trust in every aspect of your work? As a Customer Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing technical services and support across various departments, including Technical, Commercial, NPD, Procurement, and Supply Chain.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the main technical stakeholder and day-to-day contact for a retail customer
Analyse data and provide reports to assess KPI performance.
Utilise Quality Management System (QMS) data to monitor and improve product and process performance.
Generate weekly KPI reports on complaints and provide recommendations for improvement.
Assist in artwork and label approval processes.
Conduct grower visits to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer specifications.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop technical input for Customer Business Plans.
Participate in assigned projects and deliver results within set timeframes.
Create positive relationships with customers and internal teams.Experience, Knowledge, Qualifications:
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to think logically and make decisions.
Proactive approach to task completion.
Prior experience in a technical role preferred ideally within, horti, fresh or food
Willingness to assume additional responsibilities in the absence of the Head of Technical.
Collaboration with other members of the technical team to ensure continuity.
This is a Monday - Friday 8.00-5.00 role
