Individual Needs Assistant (INA) - Infant School in Peacehaven

Supply Desk is currently seeking a dedicated Individual Needs Assistant to support a non-verbal child in Reception (4-5 years old) at an Infant school in Peacehaven.

Role Overview:

Position: Individual Needs Assistant (INA)

Location: Peacehaven, Infant School

Duration: Immediate start until the end of the academic year

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one support to a non-verbal child in Reception

Assist with communication strategies and sensory needs

Collaborate with classroom teachers to implement individualized learning plans

Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a SEN role is essential

A passion for working with children and supporting their individual needs

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Patience, empathy, and adaptability
