Zenith People are working with our client who are a North East-based business looking for an experienced Quality & Compliance Manager to become a permanent addition to their team. The primary objective of this role is to efficiently manage and enhance the operations of the packing centre and internal logistics within the company, ensuring safety and continuous improvement. Additionally, you will have the responsibility of overseeing the performance of the quality and compliance team, coordinating skill development, and effectively allocating tasks to meet and surpass company and customer standards in compliance, quality, cost, and delivery.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
· Knowledge of Production & logistics processes (FMCG)
· Knowledge of working with Continuous improvement tools and techniques
· Demonstrable change management experience and of effectively managing a team.
· Relevant Health, Safety & Compliance legislation understanding.
· Relevant employment law understanding
· Relevant Quality & Compliance qualifications advantageous
QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS REQUIRED
· Broad experience packing centre & logistics operations or similar.
· Working knowledge of lean concepts, tools, methodology or other comparable continuous improvement programs
· Strong hands-on mentality and organisational skills
· Broad experience of audit/compliance of all aspects of this or a similar business
