Isla Rose is recruiting for an experienced plant manager on behalf of an established business in Stoke. As a plant manager, you will be responsible for the immobilisation plant department at a hazardous waste site, managing a multi skilled team to achieve business goals. Experience within hazardous waste management is preferred but not essential. Applicants must be educate to degree level within Chemistry or a similar field.

This role is available on a permanent contract.

Key Duties

* Manage incoming consignments

* Manager labour and resources

* Ensure testing is completed correcting

* Liaise with transport companies

* Support development projects

* Risk assessments

* Ensure safe loading and unloading

* Promote HSE policies

* Ensure waste storage is compliant

* Lead and strengthen the plant team

Experience/qualifications

* Hazardous waste preferred

* HNC or degree in Chemistry or similar

* Office packages

* Management

The working week will be Monday to Friday.

The salary for this role will be around £35000.
