Cottenham is 6 miles from Cambridge. The Citi 8 bus goes into Cambridge every 30 minutes. Driving takes 15 mins and cycling into the city centre takes 30 mins directly through Histon, over A14 and down Histon Rd while it's 10 minutes to bike to the Guided Bus in Histon.
Cottenham has a cosy pub (2 minutes from the apartment), a Co-op, chemist, and post office and a fabulous curry house - a Rumbles Fish and Chip is coming soon . The nearby village of Histon (2 miles toward Cambridge) has 3 pubs including a bar/brasserie and an Indian restaurant and cafe.
