A secondary SEN school in Manchester are looking for teaching assistants for full-time positions to work with students with additional needs in a specialist setting. As a teaching assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and students, gaining valuable experience and skills for your future career in education.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging and interactive lessons across various subjects
- Provide one-to-one or small group support for students who require additional support with their learning
- Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Support the teacher in managing classroom behaviour
- Assist in the preparation of teaching materials and resources
Requirements:
- A bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g. Education, Psychology, English, Mathematics, Science, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with students and teachers alike
- A passion for education and a genuine interest in working with young learners
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
