Location: Cambridge (CB24)
Duration: Up to 6 months
Hours: 8am until 4:30pm (Monday to Friday)
Salary: £30,000 to £35,000

Polytec are looking for a Buyer for our client based just north of Cambridge. This is a temporary role, starting in the New Year and anticipated to last up to 6 months.
Responsibilities:
* Raising and placing purchase orders
* Tracking orders and chasing suippliers to ensure timely delivery
* Feeding back information regarding material supply to key personnel
* Updating ERP systems
* Negotiating with vendors regarding pricing and lead-times
* Communicating supply dates and risks to supply
Requirements:
* Experience using MRP/ERP systems
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
* Experience in an electro/mechanical manufacturing environment
