Proactive Perosnnel have an exciting opportunty for an experienced Plant Engineer to join their client in Chester area.
Our client are looking for a plant engineer who has working knowldege of Mechanical, Electrical, Automation and quality control processes including HACCP principles wthin a food manufacturing environment.
Duties:
* Electrical and Mechanical maintenance of modern machinery ensuring a smooth production process
* Carrying out industrial electrical and mechanical installations, fault finding and repair
Job Purpose:
* Coordinate work within production plans. Liaising with teams to ensure compatibility with existing processes and support training
* Ensure all work complies with relevant legislation and company working practives
* Ensure alignment with planned project activities, update on installation progress and highlight any issues or concerns
* Review on-going and upcoming engineering and project work. Align on CAPEX plans aligned to the commerical growth plan
Qualifications Required:
* Must have ONC/HNC/NVQ Qualification Mechanical/Electrical maintenance
* 17th/18th edition preferable
* referedTime served or apprentice trained
* Pneumatic experience
* Must be computer literate

* Pro-active, postive can do attitude to all aspects of the role
* Work with little supervision using own iniative within the parameters of the role
* confident in own ability & able to coach operators to a basic technical level
* Team player, approachable and supportive
* Ability to share improvement visions and ideas
Desired Skills:
* HACCP Qualification
* Experience working on VFFM equipment
* Experienced working wiht dry powders and blends
* IOSH/NEBOSH H&S preferable
