Job Title: Particle Characterisation Scientist
Location: South West Cambridgeshire
Salary: Competitive, dependant on experience

Responsibilities of the Particle Characterisation Scientist:
Support full analytical testing of biopharmaceutical and pharmaceutical products, according to cGMP standards
Carry out quantitative measuring of compounds in an array of formulations, assisting product development, batch certification and stability testing.
Follow all working instructions and communicate well within your team and with other departments
Plan and carry out work in order to complete projects successfully.
Document and report all analytical activities and results accurately.The successful Laboratory Team Leader will have the following skills, qualifications and experience:
Be degree qualified in Chemistry or equivalent scientific discipline with at least 3 years of industry experience.
Have analytical chemistry knowledge with experience of techniques such as HPLC
Experience of particle analysis of inhaled and nasal products using Sympatec, Proveris, Freeman powder rheometers, Malvern equipment, MDRS, Mastersizer, Spraytec/ Sprayview and liquilaz/ HIAIAC equipment would be essential
Ideally previous experience of working in a cGMP Laboratory
Be able to write reports and study protocols with little supervision
Be IT literate
To be able to deliver the best customer service with integrity and honesty
