Secondary SEMH Support

Do you have previous experience working with children/adults with complex needs, SLD, Autism, SEMH? Would you like to work 6.5 hours a day and earn £85-95 a day? Vision for education work with a SEN School in LS10 who are looking for an immediate start SEMH/ Behavioural support assistant. The suitable candidate would be working in a class with 7 boys 11-16 and have previous experience of the following:

Staff need to be resilient, able to manage difficult situations, and remain calm and consistent for all pupils at all times and be incredibly patient.
Staff must be able to give students lots of processing time.
Staff need to be able to follow direction from the teacher and act on their own initiative.
Staff need to be able to adapt changing situations, whilst ensuring all pupils are safe and their needs are continuously met.
Staff need to be able to model socially appropriate behaviours and support the implementation of speech and language and occupational therapy plans.
