A leading organization requires an API Platform/Portal Lead to join its fantastic new team.

An excellent opportunity to be the driving force in APIs within a global enterprise.

The ideal candidate will have:

* Proven experience in API platform building, including the design, development, design, architecture, delivery, and maintenance of an API platform.

* Ensure that the API initiatives meet the needs and expectations of all parties involved.

* Oversee the setup and maintenance of scalable, highly available, and disaster recovery-enabled platforms

* Experience in aligning API strategies with broader business goals and digital transformation initiatives. Developing broad API capabilities across the organisation.

* Advanced knowledge of cloud technologies, digital transformation strategies, and software development life cycles (SDLC).

* Exceptional ability in leading diverse software engineering teams, fostering an environment of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.

* Previous experience of leadership to development teams and being able to evaluate complex delivery risks and issues accurately and objectively.

* Demonstrate a flexible approach to work

* Making sound and good decisions, understanding the right level of risk and influencing others
