Mechanical Estimator - Stockport area.

£45000-£55000 + Benefits

Building Services Consultancy with offices in Cheshire are actively looking for a Mechanical Estimator to join the team working on a range of projects across the North-West and in close proximity to the Project Management team.

To apply the candidate MUST be in the mechanical sector and be experienced in estimating on new and existing projects. Site work/assessments would be beneficial, but in the most part, this role will be office based. Projects will also traverse into energy and sustainability so knowledge of this field would be beneficial.

This is the perfect opportunity for an Estimator who is looking to take on more responsibility moving into a managerial or director position. Having been established over 60 years ago, our client is an industry leader in the North-West and have strong growth plans to cope with the demands of new projects

Skills required

4+ years' experience in mechanical estimating
Previous 'on the tools' experience beneficial including industry recognised qualifications.
Full driving license.
Strong people skills demonstrating the ability to work tight project deadlines and will minimal supervision where required.
People management skills and helping to progress Junior Estimators beneficial.
