We are currently looking to recruit 8 x Warehouse Parcel Loaders based in, Carlisle, Cumbria to work NIGHTSHIFT loading and unloading parcels in busy distribution company between November and January 2024

The Role

* Duties will include unloading, packing and sorting all mail items, garments and parcels into post codes for delivery staff to take out in the morning.

* Lifting and loading parcels and garments

* Scanning parcels using a hand scanner.

* Sorting into correct geographical areas

* Hours of work are NIGHTSHIFT between 10.00 p.m. and 08.00 a.m.

* Starts will be from November 2023

The Person

* Ideal candidates will have previous experience working within a busy warehouse but training will be given

* Must be able to work nightshift including some Friday or Sunday nights on a rota basis.

* Must be able to lift and load

* Be available for starts in November until January 2024 - there may be the opportunity for some staff to be taken onto permananet contracts.

* Ideally have a means of transport to be able to reach Kingsmoor Industrial Estate which is not covered by public transport at all times during night shifts
