anzuk education is currently looking for 2 x Learning Support Assistants to work in a primary school in the Torfaen area. This is a full time long term opportunity with a flexible start date.

About the Teaching assistant role and school:

You will be responsible for supporting the classroom teacher and completing all general day to day tasks including yard duties if required. Although not essential, experience with Additional learning needs is beneficial.

The school supports around 500 students from Torfaen. The School excels in all aspects receiving 'good' and 'excellent' ratings in all areas following their most recent Estyn report. It has a clear vision on wellbeing and a positive attitude to learning and looking for a learning support assistant to support with this.

The Learning Support Assistant role involves:

Assisting the classroom teacher with general admin throughout the day
Helping set up activities
Doing lunch duty and helping students during break time if required Requirements:
To apply and commence working with us you must meet the below criteria:

An Enhanced working with children DBS or the ability to apply for one through us
An up-to-date CV showing paid employment covering the last two years
Be based within Torfaen, or within commutable areas, and able to provide a police check from countries you have lived in within the last 5 years outside of the UK
Be able to show experience working with children in a coaching, tutoring, teaching or mentoring role Benefits of this role:
