My client is an independent financial planning consultancy based in Kenilworth, providing independent advice to the local community and clients across the UK. They pride themselves on the flexible and personal approach that they establish to help their clients financial growth. They are passionate about all financial matters with a particular emphasis placed on pension and retirement planning along with lump sum investing for growth and income.
They now have an exciting new opportunity for an individual with wealth management experience to join their small and friendly team as an IFA Administrator, providing administrative support to a Chartered Financial Planner and a first-class service to their clients.
Day to day, this varied role of IFA Administrator will involve:
* Liaising with clients and investment companies.
* Obtaining illustrations online from product providers.
* Keying in new business applications.
* Regularly reviewing the consumer duty action plan.
* Providing support to the firms advisers in non-client facing tasks.
* Acting as the main point of contact for clients.
* Handling client queries efficiently.
* Arranging/attending client meetings as requested.
* Ensuring timely issuance of updates and reports to clients.
* Reviewing client investment portfolios, asset allocations, and risk profiles upon request.
* Preparing recommendations, including research, documentation, and draft suitability reports.
* Implementing recommendations, including preparing suitability reports and completing applications/proposal forms.
* Preparing and maintaining client files, ensuring compliance.
* Liaising with compliance consultants three sixty services
* General administrative duties including dealing with post and managing email communications
IFA Administrator - Skills and Knowledge
* Ideally a working knowledge of intelligent office however training can be provided
* IT literate with knowledge of Excel
* Understanding of FinCalc cash flow modelling
* Some paraplanning skills would be useful
* Good communication skills

Working Environment - The office is based in Kenilworth, Warwickshire. The role will involve working primarily on your own from the office, with two part-time colleagues. On-site car parking is available.
