Here’s my beloved A3 that unfortunately will never find its full potential with me as I now need something cheaper to run for long journeys.
It has a well looked after engine with oil changes every 4000 miles using Mobil 1 5w30 & always run on 97Ron, but can take 95Ron. It is Mot'd until 2nd Feb 2024, 168k on the clock, so low mileage for its age & recent cam belt, water pump & thermostat changed at around 158k with receipt. Passes mot every time, the engine still purrs like a kitten & pulls well.

The interior and exterior has signs of wear and tear due to its age. Other problems worth noting are window regulators, headlights need buffing a little, remote central locking no longer works with the key (easily reprogrammed) & a few surface rust spots starting to appear on the bottom of the doors.

Plus points:
AUM engine (has the better K03s turbo, which has rarely been pushed)
Custom mapped with a feed forward boost pip system on the ECU (for those that know) based mainly on timing over boost,
Ash silicone piping throughout
Forge 007p regularly serviced with spare upgrade spring kit
Oversized Silicone TIP going into S2000 filter
Front mount intercooler
Forge map sensor
Dot 6 brake fluid
DW65V High flow fuel pump
TFSI red coil pack upgrade
Iridium spark plugs
SAI/N249 delete
Genuine 18” Audi wheels (could do with refurb)
Lowered 35mm on Bilstein shocks
Full 2.5 custom exhaust from 3” Downpipe & sports cat. Sports cat is custom removable section with spare 2.5” straight pipe that can be fitted. Currently has a standard Downpipe & cat fitted to 2.5” system, so choice of three different turbo to cat options.
Power flex rear axle bushes
Heat resistant painted rocker cover and bottom half of inlet.
No doubt more I’m forgetting to add…

The car is only a few steps away from a big turbo conversion so could be an ideal project or perfectly run as it is. Passes emissions every time in its current configuration and during its last MOT was quoted “the lowest the garage has ever seen for a 1.8t” though they were probably just being polite.
